We are excited to invite you to a special lecture featuring Dave Hoekstra and Jon Sall, showcasing their latest work, "The Camper Book: A Celebration of a Moveable American Dream." This captivating presentation explores camper culture, #vanlife, and RVing trends across the country.

Dave Hoekstra
A seasoned journalist and writer, Dave was a columnist-critic at the Chicago Sun-Times for nearly 30 years. He has won awards like the 2012 Lisagor and 2013 Studs Terkel Community Media Award. Dave has authored several books on topics including soul food restaurants and camping across America. He also co-produced the PBS special "The Staple Singers and the Civil Rights Movement."

Jon Sall
With over 30 years of experience, Jon began his career as a photojournalist at the Chicago Sun-Times, covering events like Michael Jordan and the Bulls' NBA Championships and Super Bowl XLI. He has worked on CNN Films' "Chicagoland" and ABC News' "Save My Life" and "Boston EMS." Jon is now a Multimedia Communications Specialist at Northern Illinois University.
